Gliz Design is an eCommerce small business that specializes in hand-made, custom, baby products. They were exclusively selling and promoting on Facebook, but needed to simplify their tracking, inventory, and customer order processes to keep up with demand.

 Gliz Design was growing at a rapid pace due to the popularity of their patented design, handmade, baby car seat covers. Facebook and Etsy hindered the company’s growth potential by slowing down their ability to distribute large volume orders. 


Gliz reached out to Culturbird because they needed solutions to keep up with demand. First, they needed a more efficient way to automate the design and ordering process. Gliz works with women who are independent seamstresses, and needed a way to collectively manage, track, and ship inventory. Lastly, they needed a marketing plan to attract customers to the new store when it was ready to launch.

We started with brand collaboration. We created a brand style guide that would be used and referenced for their website, social media accounts and other customer touch points. Consistent brand styling builds customer trust and grows brand awareness.

We found a solution that helped shoppers design a custom product without having to contact the business.

We advised that Shopify would be the best platform to run and grow the business. Shopify is an all-in-one solution that manages everything a small business needs such as inventory, shipping, tax collection , finances, and marketing. We also found a solution that helped shoppers design a custom product without having to contact the business. This solution streamlined the custom ordering process and reduced the time spent assisting customers with their special orders.

Shopify is known to be easy but users still need time to learn the system. Gliz hit the floor running and needed support right away. We partnered with Gliz to help manage and grow the store together.  This led us to develop a digital marketing plan to drive traffic to the site on launch day.

Shopify helped automate the processes that were becoming overwhelming and slowing down the business.  The increase in efficiency enabled the business to focus on other areas to improve growth and success.
